Bio:
Experienced professional in genetic engineering and molecular biology. Expert knowledge in protein design, genome wide screen development, cancer biology and cell cycle regulation in mammalian cells. I have designed the first artificial RNA endonuclease and hold a patent on this technology. I led number of pooled and arrayed CRISPR-Cas9, shRNA and siRNA based loss and gain of function screens in several cancer models. Currently, I lead genome editing capabilities in many human primary cells. Single cell biology and protein design is also close to my research interest and I have attained expertise in single cell automation, NGS platforms. My present role is aimed at understanding drug genome interactions in several cancer cell models.
